Xat's Power #149 is the KDog power!

I was checking xat's twitter today like I usually do, and I found some great information for fellow profiters!

Of course, our prediction was correct, as this power that's coming is going to be limited! Also like KChick, the power will also not be a group power. The picture for the power is also confirmed, check it out!

We also managed to predict that the next power was going to be KDog, as there is a pattern. You can expect that the next few powers xat will release are all the animals.

Kchick power released!

Hey guys!

Last night, xat released their newest power, called Kchick!

 This power is limited and costs 350 - 400 at the moment on Trade. 

Xat like to release powers differently, and kchick is a power they're releasing differently too... Check what they posted on their twitter last night!

Between 2,500 - 3,000 Kchick powers were released costing 200 xats each. We're not sure how many per user people were able to buy yet but we will tell you as soon as we find out!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We do not know when the power will release again, as xat have promised the power to be released at random times. The last time it released was most likely between 7-9PM GBT time.

Power Description:

Peace Power Updates

Hey guys!

Xat's Power No. 145 called the Peace power has been releasing in our stores at random hours for 200 xats each! We have finally gathered all the information about the power and what xat are planning.  
NOTE: This is the only blog where you can get all the information, so read HERE!

Peace power's releases.

• The power released between every 2-4 hours for 200 xats each.
• Peace is now currently limited
• Xat have mainly released 1,000 Peace powers, but at one point they released 500.
• No quiz was required to buy the Peace power. 1 Peace power to be bought by each user every 3 minutes!
• The power started its release on Friday evening at 8pm GBT time! 

Peace power's prices.

• When the power first released, only 1000 as the quantity, therefore it was exremely rare. The price next day rose to an amazing 800 - 900 xats!
• After the second release, the price dropped but then rose to 450 - 500 xats.
• The third release was similar to the other, it was 450 - 500, but had dropped to 350 - 400 xats.
• The fourth release dropped Peace to 300 - 350 xats.
• After the fifth release, Peace dropped to 220 - 280 xats. The price dropped rapidly, every time they released a batch of Peace.

The situation with Peace
Around 5000 - 7000 Peace powers have been released and are on xat at the moment. The power released on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The price dropped rapidly and is now under 250 xats! The demand is low. However, the power is still limited and the power is still quite profitable. Users were able to profit between 1000 - 3000 xats after the first release, but now are lucky with a 400 xat profit.

We are not sure whether xat will make the Peace power unlimited! However, if they do, It's most likely going to be on Friday 30th September at 8pm GBT time.

Xat have not updated anything on their twitter since they released 1,000 peace powers. Instead it says, '1,000 Peace powers have released. NOT LIMITED! More will be sold.'
They never included how many would release, and when It'll stop. No Peace powers have released today, (Monday) so maybe xat have stopped the releases? Here are some more important pointers to know!

Pointer 1: There are around 5000 - 7000 Peace powers currently on xat. The price is now 225 - 275 xats!
Pointer 2: There is a 20% chance that xat are going to keep the Peace power limited!
Pointer 3: It's most likely xat are going to stop the releases, as powers usually release on the weekends.

For those who only joined xat in 2011, xat used to release 1000 of a power every 1-2 hours! Powers were: Shocker, Angry, Adventure, Hero, Military, Summer, Independence, Blastde, Gkaliens, Ugly, etc.

Scifi is a unique power. They released about 6000 - 8000 Scifis on one Sturday. The price was 300 in store, and was 550 - 600 on Trade. When they stopped releasing, the price went to 600 - 700 xats! Xat released the Scifi power every saturday, because the demand was so high! The power was released every Saturday and possibly Sunday for about a month! The price in the store eventually rose to 500 xats, however the power is still great to profit!    

Punch Is Xat's Next Power!

The new power is going to be Power 143, called Punch!

We managed to have a picture of someone who has the power (volunteer) here:

 

We're not sure if this power is going to be limited or not, but here are my opinions and views.

"The Punch power will probably have some similar smileys as the Angry power, that got released in 2010 for 300 xats. It will be a LIMITED power, and it will be released between 24-48 hours, maybe even more. It will be at 200 xats each, and in order to complete it you need to complete a quiz."

OR

"I think the Punch power is going to be unlimited. It may have something to do with the Moderatord on a chat, but it will still most likely just come with Smileys. It will be 200-300 xats in store, maybe even 150!"

The power is probably going to be released either today or tomorrow. Nobody knows the price or how it's being released yet, but as always, we'll keep you posted and updated when the power is released, with all the Information that you need!

Look at this!

Hey guys!

Do you know how people always have 1,000 of a power? Well, I have a picture of a few with 1,000 or more of that power. Do you find it silly? Let me explain why they do it!

People usually try to raise a specified power that they would like to be up by buying at least 500. This is to make the other users on the chatroom know the power is 'up' like they want them to. Some can even make it past 1,000, as they are so rich. The power eventually raises by 200-300 xats, depending on the user. Here are some examples...

Unknown has over 1,300 Shocker. He originally started buying when it was at 450 - 500 xats. (Shocker was a bad power in 2010) He then bought to make it 500 - 550. Eventually, he made it 700 - 750 xats for a few weeks. Someone then sold 200 and dropped it to 600 - 650, and now it is back to 700 - 800 xats. A raise of 300 xats for him.

Ary has now 1,146 Easter and is still buying more. Easter was a bad power, and nobody was interested in it. Ary started buying when the price was 300 - 330 xats. It then became 500 - 550 xats. One day, it became over 1k! Then yes, dropped back to 450 - 550 xats. Now people are raising more (Luis has 265) and the price is 650 - 800 xats. A raise of 400 xats for them.

Veso had recently started buying the Nerd power about a fortnight ago. Nerd was 200 - 220 xats at the time, but he started buying to make it 215 - 235 xats. (Nerd was 250 - 270 but dropped). He then started buying incredibly high and the price now reached 275 - 315 xats. He has 1,100 of the power. Here's a picture...

So what do you think? Is it worth it or smart for people to be doing this? This is just another fun random thing I want you to tell me. (: Best answer gets 50 xats. Remember to include your ID.

New power coming soon... School!

Hey guys!

Good news for profiters, an hour ago, we just gathered information that the new power coming to the stores soon, is the limtied power, School!

Here is a picture of what the power looks like:

Testing for this power has just started! It is now being bought / sold between the price of 2000 - 3000 xats on Trade. Xat are still making the smileys for this power, but we have managed to find out a smiley from this power. This smiley is called (daycare)

Things we are not sure about yet...

• The price of the power is unknown.
• How many or when the power is going to be released has not been told yet.
• We don't know what the rest of the smileys for this power are. If we find out, we will keep you updated!
• This power is most likely not going to be a Group power, but even then we can't be certain.

Matchban now Limited!

The Matchban power became limited yesterday at 11am GBT time, with 10,300 being sold!

The power then reached 550-600 xats on Trade 10 hours later! The price now stays at 450-500 xats, though the highest price is 550.

Matchbans second release!

The LIMITED power Matchban has made a second return to the store at 400 xats each!

Here is a picture of it when it released in the stores:

The power will be unlimited for about 36 hours, but in order to complete it you must complete a quiz. Completing a quiz lets you buy one matchban.

Of course, there will be questions answered and a summary of the power...

Summary
This power has a similar motive as nerd, complete a quiz in order to buy the power. However, the quiz is much longer than the previous one, and we're going to show you the questions you'll get. Note: Questions tend to get repeated, so we won't give you every one.

Key words in quiz...
Phising - A site that looks like an ordinary site but has a few minor changes. Watch the link closely.
E.g. http:///www.xat.com/login
If you look at the link closely, you'll see there's an extra '/', when a normal link would be... http://www.xat.com/login 

Question 1:

 

Why? As you can see, It's a regular login page. If it were a phishing site, It would say email instead of xat name in the username column.

Question 2:

Why? He may say that he'll direct you to a login page, but as you can see, It's most likely going to be a phishing site. If you are to login, only to go to the original page: http://www.xat.com/login

Note: The link takes you to the official login page when you click it. Sweet, huh?

Question 3:

 Why? There are only a few xat staff who are on xat, especially on a chatroom. An admin also would never ask for your xats / days / powers, especially since they can grab as much as they want. (Assumably)

Question 4:

 

Why? The Trade System always works. If somebody is saying that It's broken, then It's obvious that they are attempting to scam you. Only use the transfer system if you are giving a gift, as they can easily log off after you have transfered them your xats / days.

Question 5:

 Why? You need to be very careful about this one. It's quite obvious to see, but a user tends to put the days in the xats column. People usually sell purple in xats, though It's a bit harder to see the scam. You can tell who would do this scam, depending on the price they do.

Note: 1910 days is equal to 24830 xats, which is fair.

Question 6:

 Why? The link that they would give to you is most likely going to be one that's a phish site.

Question 7:

Why? You can see that in the username column it says 'Email' instead of 'xat name'. Like said in the first question, that would lead to a phish site, as xat would never ask for your email password.

Question 8:

Why? That system would probably mean that the user is trying to cheat. Don't proceed if you do, as you may get some concequences, even if you haven't done anything.

Question 9:

 Why? If you just show the conversation, we won't know who that person exactly is, and when it happened. It's best to have a screen shot of when it actually happened, the ID of the person, and the time it was. (even if you're in a different country)

Question 10:

 Answer: Report to chat moderator / owner

Why?

1. It's against the rules to sell programs, epecially if it can hack you loads of xats.
2. The program could be a virus, or a way to get your xats and days.
3. That person can be reported to the xat admins and their IP will be banned forever.

Question 11:

  Why? The person who is theatening to hack you is most likely just bluffing and is all talk. Though xat aren't responsible if you are scammed or hacked, It's best to report the person to a chat moderator / owner, put the user on ignore or report them to Support as the admins can deal with them easier.

Question 12:

Why? This time, instead of the username being different, the link is different. Can you see how it has a set of numbers after the http://? An original xat login link has no numbers in it, especially as it doesn't have xat.com in the link.

Question 13:

Why? 1 day is equal to 13 days, so 100 days is 1300 xats. Also, like said before, the Trade system always works, so if a user is saying that It doesn't work and to transfer, you know that it will be a scam. It's best to report him to a moderator or owner on Trade.

Question 14:

 Why? You are most likely not going to get someone giving you 'free xats' without it leading to a Scam. Don't trust anyone who says this, even if they try be your friend for it. You can't trust anyone completley, not even your friends.

Question 15:

 Why? This time, the link on the page says 'www.xat.com/br'. The br in the link is the scam, so don't login your page. It's always best to check the link first, and the person who's giving you the link.

Question 16:

 Answer: Report them.

 Why? This is an obvious answer. Especially if it's someone random asking you, the answer is that they're going to want to either make your xat account their own, or steal something personal from you.

Question 17:

 Why? The link on the login page now says xat.com@. The @ replaced the / concluding with it being a scam, as a normal http link would never have a @ in it.

Question 18:

 Answer: You are careful and check the trade and see that he entered 5 xats instead of 5 days and report the user.
Why? People who always give extremely good deals are the most obvious scammers. Sometimes, they sell something really cheap in order to get something they really want, as they are desperate. Depending on the power and how cheap they sell it, always be aware of your trader.

Question 19:

 Why? If you did do an IOU (I owe you) with somebody, they will probably not give the rest of the xats when they next come online, and put you on Ignore. If they don't have enough xats, don't risk it with them.

Answer: X out of the trade app completley and restart the trade app (to get the answer correct)
But the other answer doesn't neccasarily mean that the person's the scammer. Read the reason why!

Why?
1st Option: This is a great oppotunity for the other person to try and change their deal, in order to scam you.
2nd Option: Sometimes, someone may type their password wrong, or forget it. If this happens, give them a few minutes just to retype their password again. If this happens more than 3 times, then leave the trade. It happens to me all the time.

Question 20:

 
Why? If you are buying / selling an ID from somebody, that is a huge risk that you are willing to take. People are usually scammers like this, telling you to go first. If somebody is selling you an ID for much cheaper that it actually is, that is also a huge scam, especially since xat are not involved with ID trades. Here is a rough guide on how much a certain ID is...

9 digits        500 - 1000 xats (depending on if the ID is repeated or not)
8 digits      2000 - 11000 xats
7 digits     85000 - 185000 xats
6 digits  200,000 - 300,000 xats
5 digits  400,000 - 500,000 xats
4 digits  500,000 + xats

Question 21:

Why? The person is obviously not 42, and the link that he is sending you leads to a phish page, as you can also tell.

Question 22:

 Answer: Report the user to the chat moderator/owner
Why? There is NO such thing as a user able to double powers. People who do have double powers bought another set of them. If a user offers to double powers, say to them: 'then why don't you have double powers?' or 'Double your powers first and show me you can do it'.

Some questions are similar, but I have given you a brief idea on what to expect. There are a total of 29 questions in the quiz. Once you complete it, this is what comes up:

Each time you complete the quiz, you are able to buy a total of 1 matchban power. If you would like to buy the power again from the store, you need to complete the quiz again! Don't worry, the questions will all be the same or similar (All about scamming and phishing) 

and voila!

Matchban releasing later today...

The limited group power Matchban is going to make another appearence later on today.

Previously, 2,000 matchban powers were released in the store at a very late time, (11pm gbt), at 600 xats each. In order to purchase the power, you were needed to complete a ban. It sold out in 20 minutes.

The power then became 1200 - 1400 on Trade. Now, because the power is releasing soon, it is 900 - 1000 xats.

What do you know about the second release?
The power will be at a slightly lower price than it was when released before.

Matchban released!

The new Limited power, Matchban was released almost 24 hours ago at 600 xats.

2,000 of these powers were released, and in order to purchase a power from the store, you are needed to complete a 6 hour ban.

Like with all new powers, you are probably wanting to know information about this power. Luckily, we have all the information we can gather like all other powers!

How many matchban powers were released?

2,000 matchban powers were released, and more will be released next week. (just like Spaceban and Snakeban), but sadly, we don't know how many yet.

On the second release, will the price stay the same?

No, during the second release of Matchban, the price in store will reduce slightly, my guess is 500 xats instead of 600.

How does Matchban work?

When you are matchbanned by somebody, you must complete a matching game in order to get yourself unbanned. There are a list of smileys, and you must connect 3 of them to make them disappear. Make all of the smileys disappear and you will become unbanned. The aim is to make all the smileys disappear in the fastest time.

Nerd Power 139 Released!

Last night, the Nerd power was released to the stores! Now, I'm sure there are many questions that you would like to know, so read here to learn Everything!

1) Prices and how it has been released...
Nerd has been released in the stores at 200 xats each. It has become unlimited for 24 hours, and then will become limited.

2) How do I buy the power?
You may be wondering, 'Why aren't I able to buy the power?' It may say, 'You need to complete a quiz to buy this power'. That's also why not many people can buy from store. Luckily, this post will explain to you how to get all the questions correctly to get the power...

Step 1: Type in this URL in the HTTP navbar - http://util.xat.com/quiz/?id= (Your registration number for xat goes after the 'id=' so will be like this...)

Once you have done that, you should get a page like this:

Step 2: Complete the quiz
I thought that there was no difference at first, but I got it after a few minutes. Look carefully, as I have highlighted what you need to look at and the answers to do.

This is NOT a phishing page because it is the normal link that you use to login to your xat account. Now, look carefully at the next one...

The link on this one says xat.com.br instead of the original xat.com. Generally, you need to always look out closely, in case someone gives you a phish site. This can help you in general.

All the questions are just this, but sometimes they may switch the Yes and No answers around. Just don't rush and you'll get all of them. There are 5 questions altogether.

Once you complete the quiz, you can buy only 1 nerd power from the store. If you want to buy another, you must complete the quiz again. If you are wondering the price on Trade, it is between 205 - 215 xats.

Power 139

The next power, will be the Power (139)

This power has gone into testing yesterday, but we are not sure what the real name or Information about this power is yet. We'll know in a couple of days time. Here are some Information that we already know...

• People buy the power for around 1000 - 2000 xats on Trade. Though some people may NOT sell for this price, this IS an APPROPIATE price.

• The test power is usually sold by people between 3000 - 4000 xats. This is certainly NOT worth it as the power will be between 150 - 500 xats in store. (most likely)

• The power will probably NOT be a group power, as the last power they had released was a limited group power.

Here are some questions you might like answered...

Why are test powers always just have the number and no picture?
Because xat haven't decided on the name or description yet, and they are just testing it. However, as for the number '139', it represents the latest power number, so in addition, there are around 139 powers in total. After a few days of testing is complete, and the name of the power is confirmed, the number will be replaced with the power name and a picture of the power.

Why are test powers so expensive?
Test powers are expensive because they are incredibly rare and certain people can have them. (Volunteers). Volunteers can tend to sell this power, and because some people buy it off them, they then sell, etc. Eventually, it is a confirmed legal power to sell on the chatroom. However, when the release becomes closer, people eventually realise that they got ripped off.

How can I retrieve a test power of my own?
You must be a xat volunteer. You can be this by other volunteers picking you, or if you are chosen by an Admin. It takes a huge responsibility, and it takes alot of hard work and trust to earn your place as one. People may even hold some contests for a Test Power, like Courages recent one, which was a Background Contest, which had over 50 entries!

Spaceban back in store!

Yesterday, the limited power (Spaceban) made a return to the store, becoming un-limited for 24 hours. Users could buy some but in order to do so, they must first complete a 25 hour spaceban.

There are some facts that we gathered from this power also...

• The power was released for 1,200 xats each.
• About 5,000 were bought, including the 1,000 that released last week, making the power selling 6,000 in total
• The power now reaches 1300-1350 xats on Trade. It was 2700-3000 last week, with the power being 2,000 xats in store.
• The appropiate and average price of buying spaceban right now is 1300 though some people may buy for 1330 if lucky.

Q: So what is the main idea of Spaceban?
If you are 'Spacebanned', you must complete a game in order to get yourself un-banned. If you are banned for a longer time, the much more harder it will be for you to defeat the game. For example, if you were banned for 69 hours, you will need to try and destroy 90-95 rocks.

Q: Would you say that Spaceban is harder or easier than Snakeban?
Different people find different things either easier or trickier. However, my opinion, is that Snakeban is easier and lags less. Both can be both annoying and stressful, due to you having to beat times in order to win prizes (apply in contests), but varies.
